Go to as many conventions as possible
Enter cosplay contests/ masquerades, win some awards, get officially noticed (Not just Hall Cosplay Awards)
Befriend con-organizers, head of Guess Relations, (they are the ones who will invite you as a Cosplay Guest)
Participate in panels
Give out Cosplay Cards (Cosplay Contact Cards, Cosplay Business Cards)
Make YouTube videos / vblogs, about your cosplay progress, thoughts on cosplay, etc
Advertise, promote yourself online and offline endlessly
Make excellent costumes, not crappy costumes. Never make crap.
Think about what you and your cosplay brand stand for. Think of some way to differentiate yourself from the thousands of cosplayers out there. (i.e. what makes your brand different)

What did Jessica Nigri do to be invited as AX's Guest of Honor?

I don't get it. What did she do, exactly?

If it was Yaya being invited as AX's Guest of Honor, I would understand. Because Yaya has been around for more than ten years, and have won tonnes of awards.

If it were Lindze, G-chan (GinnyMcQueen), Erika Door, Jia Jem, Heidi Rogers, I would understand. Because they've all been around for a long time, and have won multiple awards.

But Jessica Nigri? What did she do? Having a hot body and all of a sudden you're invited as an AX Guest?

There are a lot more cosplayers who deserve to be invited as AX Guest than Jessica Nigri.

Love the whole Indian veil setting.

It was beautiful outside.

Indian mango juice. It was delicious!

Indian food. We ordered a lot of them, thanks to Groupon.

Indian food are SPICY. They use a lot of spices. I drank tonnes of water.
